Hullo!!

So, A says she doesn't have as much time as she did in the past to post because her new workplace requires to travel at the very least 3 hours every day, and she spends about 11 hours in the office; according to my pawculations, that's about 3842 doggy years. I must say, my hooman is being exploited and she doesn't know it. I have to think of ways to take revenge for her!

In the meantime, it's been raining a lot these past few days, so I've been in my lazy snuggling mood. (I *am* still thinking of devious ways for A, but I have to rest my head because I have many pressing matters to take care of at home.)

Look at me being all lazy, bahaha. Still looking very good, I say, don't you guys agree?

Oh! I spy someone eating ice cream. Gotta run to get my share!

Speaking of rock n roll, I know there's a Valentine's pawty coming up. Well, PawsBang has been on hiatus for quite some time, and I think that it's time for us to rock the stage again. Yikes!! I didn't realize I haven't posted about the Christmas gift exchange! Boy oh boy, how am I going to deal with the hoomans. They been busy due to Jett having some issues, which I'll share with you later on...

Right now, I need to tell you about the Christmas gift exchange that Jazzi hosted last month (year)! I still remember the day my package came in, like it was just yesterday. My hoomans were so excited, like the package was for them, phfft! Anyhoos... My secret Santa Paws was Freya Rose (man, her eyes are gorgeous...). Check it out...

Okay, playtime is over, now open the packet and feed me, hooman!

Anyways, I haven't been online recently due to my hoomans being really busy with Jett. See, it turned out that there were many tumors in her... & she went for a sterilization op as well as to remove all the nasty lumps in her. The nasty lumps were sent to a special place to see if they were bad lumps or non-harmful lumps. After many weeks of anxious waiting, it turned out that all the tumors were all the bad evil C...

Jett had to take lots of medications, and had to be brought to the vet often for check up to see if any of the C cells spreaded to any part of her body. That's why we haven't been around much...

But thankfully, Jett is now all better! She's even bullying the hamsters, the little terror...

She has her own container of biscuits... and the horrifying part is... 

She won't share with me, AND she purposely eats it right in front of me!!! the horror..

Right now, we're still monitoring Jett really closely since the Big C won't be gone so easily. The big Lunar Chinese New Year is coming up, and the hoomans are really tied up preparing for it - it's just a week away!! I can't wait for all the noms I'll be able to get from the hooman pups.

I know I'm kinda late, but HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Bahaha. Don't furget me nows. Tataaaa.

Mayzie's Rescue Me Week, Day 5: Featuring Jake

I haven't been able to come online much, due to A's work schedule, but I definitely am not going to miss the last day of Mayzie's pawsome Rescue Me Week!

Today, I'm featuring the latest case of a hit-and-run incident that just happened here in Singapore. I present to you: Jake

This poor boy was run over by a vehicle, and left to die on the busy roads of Singapore when a good guy stopped his vehicle and prevented a grisly death that would have bound to happen with all the heavy vehicles around. Born a stray, he wasn't big and strong enough to win fights against the other strays, and was forced to feed on scraps.

He's now currently under the care of the ASD (Action for Singapore Dogs) that primarily care for our local strays and abandoned/injured dogs. They are taking care of him while he recovers from his horrific injuries, and gaining weight and getting his health to a high.

Although he isn't up for adoption, yet. I thought I'd feature him, so that someone in Singapore would know of his case, open their heart and door and save a spot in their family so that he has a good home to go to after he recovers.

Let's keep our paws crossed that this sweet, gentle boy here suffer no more, recovers quickly, and finds a good furever home to call his own soon!

Mayzie's Rescue Me Week: Featuring Leona

I'm taking part in Mayzie's pawsome Rescue Me week event, which Mayzie and her furmaily are holding in honor of Grampa J! Isn't that nice?!

So since we adopted Jett, I thought it'd be cool fur me to feature a bunny for this event. I present to you:

Leona!

Leona was cruelly abandoned by her previous owner, just like our precious Jett. She's a local bunny, so she's pretty big in size. She's not only docile and sweet, she's also toilet trained (!!!!), and enjoys head rubs and pats. She's not picky about her food, and eats all her greens. Doesn't she look precious?

She's under the care of HRSS (House Rabbit Society Singapore), an organization in Singapore that helps ALL bunnies. A has gotten a lot of useful information on the welfare of Jett from the helpful people in HRSS as well.

If anyone is looking for a sweet bunny, long eared companion of 10 years, Leona will be a pawfect furiend to you! Give her a chance, she deserves some nice head rubs.

My belated birthday present & Fluffy's Gotcha day Comment-a-thon Announcement

So my 5th birthday was actually on the 29 Sept, but A spent all her green papers on Jett's vet fees, so she couldn't buy me some special presents. So being the nice boy that I am, I told her, "it's okay, I'll just have my belated birthday present in October. I'd like my birthday dinner now, thank you very much." Thus, on my big day, I only had a special dinner of spaghetti, with some very yummy meat (specially cooked for me), and some crunchy carrots that were chopped so tiny I couldn't pick them out (I'm a bad sport, I'm not a fan of veggies and stuff). And can you believe it, there were no peektures taken of ME on my special day!

As such, during this period where I was away, and the humans were busy doing their human stuff, I thought and thought about how I could make them pay for such mis-treatment of ME. When I came back to Blogville, I saw Mayzie's special "Rescue Me Week" contest:

I'd make the hoomans pay... and help other furpals in need! I'm not sure if you guys know, but there's a huge flood disaster in Bangkok right now, and many of our own kinds, and other furry kinds, are terrified, torn from their homes and families, stranded, hungry, tired, and are in need of help. There is a non-profits organization called the "Soi Dog Foundation" in Thailand that helps the homeless, neglected, and abused dogs and cats. Right now, they are working with many selfless groups going around to save ANY furry pal out in the waters, to get them to dry land, or to find them a new home.

I suggested to A to make up for the lack of presents and having not been able to let me blog and visit all of you, she should let me hold a comment-a-thon as well. Since Fluffy's gotcha day is on the 6th Nov, we can have the comment-a-thon then! For every comment we receive on the big day, she'll donate $0.50 to the cause!! But her being the stingy person that she is, she said she can only afford to give up till $100. Do help make me empty her wallets okay? Spread the word!

***I know I'm not getting anything out of this, but it's okay, Christmas is a mere 2 months plus away, so I'll make sure the humans get me something then!

Jett!

She's a holland lop, and was abandoned by her previous owners at the rubbish dump below A's friend's place on 13th September. So A's friend, knowing A's soft spot for furry pals, text her and told her about the bunny, and here she is! She has a hole in her ear (see picture below), had eye infections, her paws were swollen due to staying in a cage with a wired bottom (which is bad for bunnies because their paws are soft), and was severely underweight.

All I can tell you guys is that, a bunny is A LOT of work! She makes me eat her poo, makes me clean up the food she throws around, and I've to really look out for my little hammie buddies when they're out for their run because she'll head butt them when they go near her (bahaha). She's quite the terror. I thought I was good at acting innocent and sweet to the humans, but now all I can say is, I've met my match..

She's gotten a lot fatter now, and takes up a lot of my humans' time, that's why I haven't been around lately. Sadly, A's severely allergic to Jett. She gets rashes all over her body if she plays with Jett too much. She's still trying to think of a way to make everything work out, because giving Jett up is out of the question for her. If any of you guys have suggestions on litter training a bunny, do let me know! A has tried all methods suggested, but Jett seems to have bladder issues (probably due to old age).

Anyway, A brought Pixie to the vet yesterday to check on the lump and excessive drooling that she's been having for the past couple of weeks. The vet is unable to find any obvious infection (cheeks, or misalignment of the teeth), so for now, Pixie's is to be on medication for prevention of inflammation anywhere. It'd mean a lot to A if you could keep dear Pixie in your thoughts and prayers.

Guess who's back? Back again!

That's right! It's meeee. Bahaha. I haven't been around much, I know.. But I hope you haven't forgotten me yet.

So A has been working from home because she got injured in an accident (but she's okay, all thanks to my nice kisses and cuddles).

& I got bored one day, and decided to do some decorating around the house. But the hoomans didn't really like it...

This is what I did with the papers I found on the floor. I thought they looked pretty good. I mean, the whole house looks pretty plain and boring, so I thought I'd be nice and do something while all of them were busy with work and school, and what not.

But nooo, I got sent to the kitchen for being "naughty". So much for being nice, huh.

Since A is on MC for the past 2 days, I've been crashing with her. Snooooze. Ok back to bed.

So to exact revenge, I decided to not let A sleep. This is what I did when she was getting ready for bed.

A: *packs her bags, and whatever nonsense she needs for work.*

Me: jumps onto the bed, stealth mode, and snuggles up by her pillow.

A: turns around to see me snoozing.

BOL.

Nope, not gonna move. You can sleep on the floor tonight.

Hey everyone! We are here to rock your socks off at this picnic! I hope all of you are ready to rock n roll, because I sure am pumped to be here! Sorry we arrived a little late though, Fluffy couldn't wake on time, BOL.

Fluffy insisted on playing with us, because she couldn't stand being cooped up at home and having A irritating her all the time. Bahaha. A said Fluffy can't play the keyboards alone, because she's too small, and will get tired from playing by herself. So she said she'd let her play the tambourine instead. The other baby hamsters, Pepper, Pixie, and Skooter weren't allowed to join us because they are WAAAAY too young and small. So there she is, jumping up and down on the tambourine. BOL.

I'm back!!!

Hi everybuddy! I know I haven't been around much, but I have missed ALL OF YOU so much! I hope none of you have forgotten about me. I don't have a picture of me as of late, but don't worry, I'm still looking good. Hehe. Thank you for the kind words you have left for us. Pops is healing pretty quickly, which I'm sure is because of your nice thoughts, vibes, and prayers. It is pretty sad that the hamsters had to leave us so quickly, and our hearts still hurt that they're no longer with us, but we're happy they are not hurting over at the Rainbow Bridge. We're sure all 3 of them are having fun with Bobo, Coco, Cola, and Prince now.

A's friend brought his bunny to stay at our place for a couple of days, which is pretty cool, because I mean, hey it's a bunny. At MY place.

He's pretty cute and nice. But A wouldn't let me go near him because she says Buns is scared of me. And my whining didn't win her over this time. Seriously?! How can she say no to ME, right? I'm afraid my position in this family is getting compromised because of this bunny. The hoomans need more training. Does anyone know where I can send hoomans for proper training for a few kibbles?

Anyhoos, I'm thinking of getting a new secretary. My blog has been severely neglected, and I don't get to use the yaptop as often because the hoomans are so busy (not with me, I've no idea what they're busy with). Anyone knows of any good recommendations? I'll provide lodging, food, water, hamsters, and of course, MY company.
